While outside the autumn nights are drawing in, the ZEUS Fireside Chats are here to keep you cosy and inspired! Our first installment was hosted at the Bechstein Atelier, not too far from our Kreuzberg office, where we welcomed old friends and new faces for a night of event industry talk.
The Bechstein Atelier was a stunning spot to welcome our guests, high above the city rooftops with view of the Berlin skyline. The Bechstein Atelier belongs to a dynamic network of spaces developed and marketed by the Bechstein Network. Their impressive portfolio offers captivating concept locations, like a former supermarket at Jannowitzbrücke or Neuzeit Ost. In the case of Prince Charles, the Bechstein Network transformed an old swimming pool into a club location that is particularly interesting for interior design event planners.
The studio for our ZEUS Fireside Chat debut boasts two terraces, each with a 270° view. Inside, the elegant interior creates a unique atmosphere and perfectly supported the evening talks. Many thanks again to the Bechstein Network for partnering with us!
To kick things off, Patrick our Head of Business Development welcomed everyone to the first Fireside ZEUS Chat with a Berlin-themed pub quiz. Did you know Tempelhofer Feld is a larger area than Monaco? In groups of 6 we let our guests guess against each other – the lucky winner got to take a 1L bottle of Berliner Winter home!
After talks from the founders of ZEUS, we had a presentation from René Rennefeld on planning the perfect event. René Rennefeld is a music entrepreneur with over 75 worldwide gold and platinum awards. He has developed the entertainment sector in the “Nhow Hotel” and with his teambuilding events -inspired by music- is one of the most successful creative minds in Germany.
He used his expertise on producing a pop hit to explain how to transfer that idea to event planning. In his unique take, he reflects his experiences from the music business onto events – because every salesman is a pop star, every location a stage, and every team the band that has to inspire your audience.
And that’s exactly what René does, in his exciting lecture he shared the formula for success for perfect event marketing! Well, who can remember the formula for success? – Right: SDR: Sex, Drugs & Rock’n’Roll!
But this is not the only surprise that René has up his sleeve – he had brought a singer with him, who pulled out his guiter for some live music and soon had the audience singing along!
Let’s not forget our Events Manager, Jannik Pekker, who made it all happen. ‘Our first Fireside Chat went just as well as I could have hoped,’ he said. ‘I couldn’t be happier with the outcome and am looking forward to the next events we have planned. This one will be hard to top but we have a few surprises already planned.’
Many thanks to Berliner Winter and INJU for the delicious drinks. Berliner Winter offers a pleasant way to get through the winter. The warm drink consists of naturally cloudy apple juice, a secret winter spice mixture and a dash of vodka. Keeps warm and tastes good! The sparkling hot refreshing drink Flash by INJU also gives the necessary energy boost – but without caffeine and other stimulants. INJU is based on the use of natural ingredients.
Many thanks also to the team of Ricarda Farnbacher Catering for the first-class finger food. Ricards not only conjures up first-class catering, she also does so with great environmental awareness and her own ingredients from the garden – hand-picked here in Berlin. No matter if big or small events, Ricarda manages to fill all your guests bellys.
