We’ve acquired Okanda, the biggest portal for hotel meeting rooms in Germany.
Thanks to their team’s hard work and dedication, Okanda has been able to build up a quality portfolio comprising over 1600 meeting rooms. In addition to a polished website and reliable service, Okanda’s reputation is unsurpassed for its links to the hotel industry. This gives Okanda users access to the biggest names like Hilton, Sheraton and Hyatt for booking their next meeting.
We’re very excited about the purchase and what it means for us.
Firstly, we keep growing our offerings. With a raft of professional hotel spaces, ready for quick and easy booking, we’re even better positioned to cover more meeting and work event needs. For Okanda’s current users and space providers, we look forward to fusing our technology with the existing platform and increasing traffic and bookings on the site.
Secondly, we add another brand to our Spacebase family. At Spacebase, our mission is to connect people with spaces they need for productive, engaging and creative meetings. Spacebase is our primary platform, for modern unconventional meetings spaces, and it is now complemented by three other brands, each one of them shares our drives and values:
- Craftspace makes artistic and creative workspaces available – including workshops, kitchens, and studios.
- eventsofa is the go-to site for stunning event locations, for everything from big-scale corporate events to weddings.
- Okanda now makes hotel rooms part of our story.
We see big things on the horizon. Bringing Okanda into the family better positions us to advance our mission and bring long-term, positive changes to our industry. We’re looking forward to keeping you posted!
